# Identifying parts of the tower

The Giraffe CCTV tower comprises of 4 major components:

* the main enclosure
* the masthead unit (sometimes called camera unit / camera box)
* the solar panel assembly

The electrical panel is accessed via the front door:

The mast winching handle, T bar allen key and electrical panel connections are at the bottom of the front panel:

The batteries are stored on the left and right hand side of the tower:
