Router output
The Edge Controller V2 has a 3 pin connector used for a router.

This connector both provides power to the router and allows the router to remotely reset the Edge Controller if required
Pinout
TBC: check the pin order - this is almost certainly incorrect.

Operation
The 12VDC output is controlled by the low power controller (LPC). When the system is operating normally in active mode, power is supplied to the router which will make it boot up and run.
When the Edge Controller transitions into standby or endurance mode, the power will be cut to the router. It is also possible to trigger a 'toggle' of the router remotely, whereby the output will be temporarily switched off before switching on again. The Edge Controller will obviously go offline during this process.
The digital input can be used to allow the router to reset the Edge Controller should all else fail. Whilst reset is asserted the power to the router will remain on.
Monitoring
The 12V power output is protected from short circuit and is electronically fused at just over 2A.
If the power trips, the Edge Controller will need to be switched off and back on again in order to reset it.
It is possible to see how much current the router is drawing in the UI.
