Overview
More information can be found on the Giraffe CCTV website's tower product page.
In a nutshell, a CCTV tower is a self contained System which contains an Edge Controller, cameras and - optionally - flood and strobe lights, as well as batteries and solar panels - allowing for extended periods of off-grid operation without maintenance intervention.
It is designed to be deployed quickly and easily in a range of different settings - such as construction sites, roadside surveillance, industrial areas and town centers.
The CCTV tower is designed to be powered by batteries, which are charged by solar power or an EFOY fuel cell. However, it can be run off of shore power too - although internal batteries provide protection against power outages.
Owing to their easy transport, setup and deployment, the CCTV tower can offer protection to a site in a matter of minutes, once unloaded.
For more static/permanent security options, when a smaller footprint is needed, or where stand-alone-deployment is not required, consider the Giraffe MSU.
