Alarm handling

Video events are short video clips that have been uploaded to the Giraffe cloud in response to a artificial intelligence event (such as a person or vehicle being detected).

Events can be viewed on the History tab on the top menu bar:

You can filter the list of events using the controls at the top of the screen:

The event can be played by clicking on the play or fast forward icons. Yoy can also click and drag on the timeline to jump to a different point in the video.

The snapshots can be opened in full screen by clicking on them:

When in full screen, you can quickly switch between snapshots using the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard.

Snapshots can also be downloaded using the download link next to the snapshot.

The video can be taken full screen using the full screen button in the bottom right corner:

You can quickly jump to the recording timeline for the particular camera at the event's point in time by clicking on Recording Timeline. You can also see whether it was a vehicle or person detection that triggered it with the icon.

By clicking on the elipsis icon, you can download the video clip to your computer, or delete the event:
