Last updated 2 years ago

Recordings can be played back using the Recording page accessed from the top menu bar.

General controls

You can switch between different cameras using the dropdown in the top left:

The date and time selector can be clicked on to jump to a different point in time:

The timeline can be clicked on to move to a different time. You can also play, pause and step step forwards or backwards by 5 seconds or 1 minute using the relevent buttons. The playback speed can also be adjusted.

You can adjust the time period shown in the timeline by using the dropdown:

Full screen

You can go full screen by using the icon in the top right corner of the video player. Full screen mode can be exited by pressing the ESC key on your keyboard.

When in full screen mode, the timeline and controls will be hidden by default. If you move the mouse to the bottom of the screen, they will appear.

Playback quality

You can chose between playing back the high definition stream, or the standard definition stream. The video footage is streamed directly from the Edge Controller, so if it's internet connection is slow, you may have to wait for the video to buffer before you can play it back.

If you have a camera that supports thermal imaging, you will also be able to select the thermal stream:

Snapshots

Snapshots are captured from the video at 1 minute intervals. Snapshots are useful for quickly reviewing lots of footage.

You can adjust the interval between snapshots using the dropdown at the top right. The minimum interval is 1 minute and the maximum interval is 1 hour.

The newest snapshot will be the closest snapshot before the time where the recording timeline is currently set to . If you move the timeline to a different time, the snapshots will update.

The snapshots can be scrolled back infinitely.
