Quick sounds

It is possible to upload pre-recorded audio messages to Giraffe Cloud and play them through the speakers on an Edge Controller. We call these “quick sounds.”

Triggering quick sounds

To play a quick sound, choose Quick Sounds from the cog icon on a camera’s live view screen. Then select the quick sound you want to play.

While it is playing, the sound wave icon next to it will animate.

Uploading quick sounds

It is currently not possible to upload quick sounds yourself. If you need a new pre-recorded message, please contact Giraffe support for assistance.

In future versions of Giraffe Cloud, you will be able to upload your own quick sounds directly.
