Switching, isolation, charging, and battery replacement guidance for CCTV Towers.

Switching on

1. Ensure all batteries are connected.

2. Ensure all battery circuit breakers are ON.

3. Ensure Anderson connectors at bottom of panel are connected.

4. Switch tower ON using switch inside electrical box.

5. Confirm green light on Edge Controller.

Isolating tower

1. Switch tower OFF using switch inside electrical box.

2. Disconnect yellow Anderson connector first to isolate solar.

3. Disconnect grey Anderson connector to isolate batteries.

Charging from mains

1. Connect mains power to charger with correct adapter cable through bottom tower entry.

2. Switch tower on using normal switching-on procedure.

3. Check charger LED:

   • Red: charging

   • Green: charged

   • Flashing: fault

Swapping batteries

1. Switch tower OFF.

2. Remove all existing batteries before connecting replacement batteries.

3. Fit replacement batteries and secure straps.

4. Ensure Anderson connectors are fully seated.

5. Ensure all battery circuit breakers are ON.

Voltage matching rule

All batteries must be at similar voltage before combining. Do not combine batteries at significantly different voltages.
