Step-by-step deployment workflow from positioning through to power-up checks.
Deploy on firm, level ground only. If the mast does not move correctly or cable goes slack, stop immediately.
Ensure tower is on firm, level ground.
Use spreader pads if required.
Fully extend stabiliser legs until they lock.
Remove winch handle from holder in front of enclosure.
Wind legs down until tower is level and all legs are in equal contact with ground.
Start with the leg that needs the greatest extension.
Use spirit levels inside mast enclosure to confirm level.
Remove transport handle if fitted.
Confirm stabiliser legs are correctly deployed.
Release locking nuts on solar panel tilting brackets.
Tilt solar panel to required position and lock off.
Remove four locking bars from side of solar panels.
Unfold panels with right-hand side first (viewed from panel surface side).
Reinstall four locking bars on rear of solar panels.
Ensure mast cable is free of kinks and ready to feed into mast.
Turn winch handle anti-clockwise to raise mast.
Stand back when cranking.
Carefully feed mast cable into bottom of mast as mast rises.
Stop when mast reaches full extension and limit line is visible.
Confirm safety pin locks with lever pointing toward sky.
Do not attempt to exceed full extension.
Ensure all batteries are connected.
Ensure all battery circuit breakers are ON.
Ensure Anderson connectors at bottom of panel are connected.
Switch tower ON using internal switch in electrical box.
Confirm green light on Edge Controller.
