Safe and repeatable tower recovery workflow before transport.
Stop immediately if mast does not lower correctly or if winch cable goes slack.
Release safety pin.
If safety pin is tight, raise mast slightly with winch handle to release load.
Gently pull electric cable out of bottom of mast as mast lowers.
Do not allow cable to bunch in bottom of mast.
Turn winch handle clockwise to lower mast.
Stand back when cranking.
Continue until mast is fully lowered and resting on stops.
Remove four locking bars from rear of solar panels.
Fold panels with left-hand side first (viewed from panel surface side).
Reinstall four locking bars on side of solar panels.
Release locking nuts on panel tilting brackets.
Tilt panel to vertical transport position and lock off.
Disconnect connector from bottom of mast head unit.
Remove locking bolt using T-handle Allen key stored in front of tower.
Lift camera unit off top of mast.
Replace bolt into camera unit for safekeeping.
Switch tower OFF using switch inside electrical box.
Disconnect yellow Anderson connector first to isolate solar.
Disconnect grey Anderson connector to isolate batteries.
Refit all locking bars and nuts
Confirm mast fully lowered
Confirm safety pin is in transport-safe condition
Confirm no loose cables
