Critical safety rules before operating, moving, deploying, or recovering the CCTV Tower.

Never place any part of your body under a raised mast.

Core operating rules

• Stand back while cranking the winch.

• Ensure mast safety pin is engaged when mast is raised.

• Stop winching immediately if winch cable goes slack.

• Stop winching immediately if mast stops moving.

• Do not use the tower if winch cable is damaged.

• Inspect winch cable before each use.

• Turn winch by hand only.

• Feed mast cable in as mast is wound up.

Mandatory PPE

• Wear gloves.

• Wear a hard hat or safety helmet.

Pinch and lifting hazards

• Keep hands clear of pinch-point areas.

• Use multiple lifting points when lifting.

• Ensure safety pin is engaged when mast is extended.

Battery and chemical safety

• Product contains lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4).

• Product may contain methanol (variant dependent).

• Comply with all relevant battery and chemical regulations.

Electrical safety

• Mains power input: 100-240V AC, 50-60 Hz, 600 W.

• Isolate solar before disconnecting batteries.

• Do not proceed with maintenance unless isolation is complete.
