On site setup checklist
Checklist for checking the health of a system you have recently deployed.
Physical tower checks
Tower level and stabiliser legs secure
Mast safety pin engaged and lever correctly positioned
Winch cable condition verified (no fray, no broken strands, no obvious damage)
No cable bunching at mast base
Solar panels deployed and locked to correct seasonal angle
No panel shading across key daylight hours
Brakes applied when unattended
Power checks
All batteries connected
Battery circuit breakers ON
Anderson connectors correctly seated
Charger state checked if on mains supply
System checks
Live view: confirm all expected cameras are online and framing is correct.
Recording: verify each camera is recording.
Schedules: confirm team schedule is configured and applied to each system.
Battery readings: confirm battery values are visible in system settings.
Mains status: confirm mains is detected when connected.
Solar or EFOY status: confirm charging values are visible and behavior is expected.
Router details: confirm router information is visible.
Camera masking: confirm masks are correct for AI detection zones.
Audio talkdown: confirm output is enabled and tested.
Alarm configuration: confirm alarm levels and power-loss behavior are set.
ARC or central station: test send and receive path.
Notifications: confirm correct users and health alerts.
Walk test: confirm expected alarm and notification behavior.
Record any failed checks in site handover notes before leaving location.
