Transporting the tower

Safe handling and transport guidance for moving the CCTV Tower on site and by vehicle.

Do not lift with a forklift from restricted sides marked on the tower. Use approved lifting points only.

Prepare for movement

• Ensure mast is fully retracted.

• Ensure tower is isolated.

• Remove camera head unit if required by transport method.

Move on site

• Attach handle before moving.

• Apply brake when tower is unattended.

• Take care on slopes.

• Use approved pickup side only.

Set transport configuration

• Set solar panel tilt to transport position.

• Refit and secure all locking bars and locking nuts.

• Use ratchet straps on lifting eyes when securing to a vehicle.

Final transport check

• Mast fully down and pinned

• Camera secured

• Solar locked

• No loose cables or loose hardware
