Troubleshooting

Fault-finding checks for common CCTV Tower power, charging, mast, and safety-pin issues.

No power in electrical box

1. Check batteries are connected.

2. Check battery circuit breakers are not tripped.

3. Check battery state of charge is not flat.

4. Check Anderson connectors are fully seated.

Circuit breakers keep tripping

• Confirm batteries are at similar state of charge.

• Confirm no damaged cables or connectors.

• Confirm battery set is correctly matched.

Charger flashing fault LED

• Verify mains input cable and adapter.

• Verify input supply is 100-240V AC, 50-60 Hz.

• Verify charger output connections.

Mast not moving or winch issue

Stop immediately if winch cable goes slack or mast does not move as expected.

• Check for cable bunching, snagging, or routing issues.

• Inspect winch cable for damage before retrying.

Safety pin does not engage

• Ensure mast is fully extended to limit line.

• Check lever orientation (toward sky when locked).

• Slightly raise or lower mast to align pin engagement.

Escalation

If issue persists, capture:

• Fault description and exact step where issue occurs

• Charger LED state

• Controller LED state

• Photos or video
