24V/48V system wiring
The Edge Controller does not natively support voltages higher than 12. If you wish to run a 24V or 48V battery bank, it is possible but you must use a voltage converter to drop the voltage and any accessories requiring higher than 12V must be switched via a relay.

System overview
The main battery bank runs at 24V or 48V.
A DC-DC converter steps battery voltage down to a regulated 12V supply.
The 12V supply powers the Edge Controller.
A controllable Edge Controller output drives a relay control input (coil).
Relay contacts switch 24V or 48V power to accessories (for example, a camera or other load).
If you have 12V accessories, you can power them from the Edge Controller outputs when they are within output current limits.
Wiring steps
Connect the 24V or 48V battery to your main power distribution point.
Connect the DC-DC converter input to the same 24V or 48V battery source.
Connect the DC-DC converter 12V output to the Edge Controller power input.
Connect one Edge Controller controllable output to the relay control input.
Connect relay switched contacts to the 24V or 48V battery feed and accessory power path.
Validate that enabling the Edge Controller output energizes the relay and powers the accessory.
Low-voltage cut-off requirements
When you power the Edge Controller through a DC-DC converter, the controller sees a regulated 12V output, not true battery voltage.
This means the built-in hardware low-voltage cut-off behavior will not operate as intended for the 24V or 48V battery bank.
To protect batteries from over-discharge:
Install an external battery protection device (for example, Victron BatteryProtect or equivalent).
Place that device on the 24V or 48V side, upstream of the DC-DC converter and loads.
Configure disconnect and reconnect thresholds for your battery chemistry and operating profile.
Do not connect 24V or 48V directly to the Edge Controller. Always supply the controller with 12V DC only.
If you do not install external low-voltage protection, the battery can deep-discharge and suffer reduced life or permanent damage.
